Sara Thorne’s Bio:
Sara Thorne is a physical therapist with 25 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. She is partnering with MOVE Wellness to offer personalized physical therapy to their clients and the community. Sara entered the field of physical therapy with a passion for movement and exercise. She played varsity soccer and tennis in college, and currently enjoys running and yoga. She worked for the University of Illinois, Duke Health, the Cleveland Clinic, and most recently Healing Hands in Ann Arbor.
She loves getting to know her patients and their specific interests to better tailor treatment sessions, and help achieve their goals. Sara creates a warm and welcoming space for her patients.
Throughout her career, Sara has pursued continuing education to expand and hone her manual therapy skill set. She is trained in Oro-Facial Dry Needling, Functional Dry Needling, Graston instrument assisted soft tissue technique, and soft tissue and joint mobilization. She has had additional training in the evaluation and management of headaches, neck, facial and jaw pain.
